Step-by-Step Guide: How to Import Pipedrive Data

Datablist is a powerful data cleaning, deduplication, and enrichment tool. Follow these steps to import data from your Pipedrive account.

1. Create a New Collection

First, create a new collection in Datablist. This will be the workspace where your imported Pipedrive data will live. Then, open the Sources list.

2. Select "Pipedrive" Source

Choose Pipedrive from the available data sources.

3. Enter Your Pipedrive API Key

You'll be prompted to enter your Pipedrive API key to authorize the connection. Datablist uses the official Pipedrive API, ensuring a secure and reliable connection.

How to find your Pipedrive API Key: Log in to your Pipedrive account, go to Settings → Personal preferences → API, and copy your "Personal API token". Paste it into Datablist.

4. Choose the Pipedrive Object Type to Import

Select the type of data you want to import from Pipedrive:

  • People: Your contacts.
  • Organizations: Your company records.

Important: If you plan to deduplicate or clean People and Organizations separately, it's best practice to import them into two separate Datablist collections.

5. Review Importable Data Fields

Before starting, Datablist shows the fields it will import from Pipedrive for the selected object type. This includes:

  • Standard Pipedrive fields (e.g., Name, Email, Phone, Owner, Address, Value for Deals, etc.).
  • All your custom fields.

6. Start the Import

Click the Run import now button.

Datablist will securely connect to your Pipedrive account and begin fetching the data. A notification will show the progress.

7. View the Imported Data

Once the import is complete, your Pipedrive data will appear in your Datablist collection, ready for cleaning, analysis, or enrichment.
