Learn how to use Datablist as quickly as possible with these keyboard shortcuts.

Note: Cmd/Ctrl means Ctrl on Windows (or Chrome) OS and Cmd (⌘) on Mac OS

General

  • Open command bar with Cmd/Ctrl + k
  • Use n to create a new empty collection
  • Use Cmd/Ctrl + z to undo an action
  • Use Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + z to redo an action
  • Back or Close drawer/modal with Esc

On the DataTable

  • Use c while on a collection's page to create a new item
  • Use Space to open drawer for current item
  • Use Enter to commit cell changes
  • Use Esc to cancel cell changes in edit mode
  • Use Cmd/Ctrl + f to search inside the collection
  • Use Cmd/Ctrl + c to copy selected cells or items
  • Use Cmd/Ctrl + v to paste data

Moving cursor

  • Move cursor right
  • Move cursor left
  • Move cursor up
  • Move cursor down
  • Use Tab to move to next cell (committing changes when pressed while editing)
  • Use Shift + Tab to move to previous cell
  • Move cursor to end of row with Cmd/Ctrl +
  • Move cursor to beginning of row with Cmd/Ctrl +
  • Move cursor to beginning of row with Cmd/Ctrl +
  • Move cursor to end of items with Cmd/Ctrl +

Selecting Items

  • Use Cmd/Ctrl + a to select all items
  • Use Shift and move up or down to select items
  • Select an item checkbox and click on another item checkbox while pressing Shift to select all items in between
